SAT

The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) test is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the U.S. The SAT assesses how well the test takers analyze and solve problems, evaluating skills that they will need in college. Starting in March 2023, the SAT will be administered in a digital format to better accommodate the needs of students. The test will continue to be administered at a proctored test center.

The Digital SAT consists of two main parts:

  • Reading and Writing: 64 minutes (two 32-minute modules)
  • Math: 70 minutes (two 35-minute modules)

Students are given a total of 2 hours and 14 minutes to finish the test.

Each part is divided into two equal-length modules, with a 10-minute break in between. The first module in each section contains questions with different levels of difficulty. Based on a student's performance on the first module, the difficulty level of the questions in the second module will either increase or decrease. On all questions, there's no penalty for guessing.

PSAT / NMSQT

The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is a standardized test for 10th and 11th graders across the United States. The test acts as a precursor to the SAT, measuring students’ skills in reading, writing and math. PSAT scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships. The test has fewer questions and is considered easier than the SAT.

The PSAT sections are as follows:

The duration of the full test is approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes. There is no essay section.

ACT

The ACT (American College Testing) is the US college admissions test that measures what students learn in high school to determine their college academic readiness. It is a standardized test designed to assess students’ educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. Most colleges use ACT scores as a factor in their admission process.

The Composite score reflects English, math, and reading, with science scores reported separately for those who choose to complete that section.

SSAT

The SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) is a standardized admission test designed for students in grades 3 to 11 that are seeking to apply for private schools and institutions across the U.S. We offer programs for middle level (grades 5 to 7), and upper level (grades 8 to 11). It measures students’ reading comprehension, verbal, and quantitative skills. The content, order, and the number of questions depends on the level of the test taken.

The test consists of the following general sections:

  • Math Section
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Verbal Section
  • Writing Sample

GRE

The GRE (Graduate Records Examinations) is a computer-based standardized test commonly used as an admission requirement for most Graduate Schools in the United States. The GRE measures verbal and quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills, assessing the learner’s general academic level, regardless of their field of specialization. 

The sections of the test are as follows:

  • Analytical Writing (2 essays / 30 minutes each)
  • Verbal Reasoning (2 sections / 30 minutes each)
  • Quantitative Reasoning (2 sections / 35 minutes each)

The full duration of the test is approximately 3.5 hours.

IELTS

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a standardized English language proficiency test that is recognized worldwide by universities, colleges, employers, and governments. The test exists in two different versions, IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. Choosing the right test depends on individual goals, for example an international student planning on attending an English-speaking university may consider writing the Academic test, whereas an individual applying for a professional position in an English-speaking country would consider writing the General Training test.

The IELTS Academic sections are as follows:

  • Listening (30 minutes)
  • Reading (60 minutes)
  • Writing (60 minutes)
  • Speaking (11-14 minutes)

GMAT

As of Feb. 1, 2024 the GMAT test will be transitioning to the new GMAT Focus Edition.

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a computer-based standardized test used as a criterion for admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. The GMAT assesses quantitative, verbal, and data insights in English.

The test consists of the following sections:

  • Quantitive Reasoning (21 questions / 45 minutes)
  • Verbal Reasoning (23 questions / 45 minutes)
  • Data Insights (20 questions / 45 minutes) 

You can take the exam in any order that you want and can bookmark questions for review and change up to three answers per section.  Also, you can choose to send the finalized score after seeing your results.

Performance insights will be included at no additional charge.

The test is 2 hours 15 minutes and has three sections containing 64 questions and no writing assessment.

TOEFL

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an English language proficiency test, recognized globally by English-speaking institutions. It evaluates a student’s ability to both speak and understand English by examining their English ability in terms of reading, speaking, listening, and writing. The TOEFL test is conducted in the form of an online test.

NEW CHANGES FROM JANUARY 21, 2026

The test will now adjust in real-time based on the student's performance. Traditional content will be supplemented with modern topics.

Scoring

  • Reports will display both the 1-6 banded scale and the traditional 0-120 scale
  • Scores will be available within 72 hours or less
